EXPERIENCE

Dee has been an active volunteer in the Parkway School District since 1992.  Dee has proven leadership in the district and our community. 

Her volunteer service includes:

Successfully elected three times to the Parkway Board of Education:  Dee was first appointed to the board in June, 2004 to fill a vacancy and is proud to represent the Parkway Community.

Board Liaison to the Project Parkway Steering Committee:  Dee is committed to this long term strategic planning process and in the mission-driven outcomes that will benefit our students.

Long time participant in the Parkway Government Relations Committee:  Dee stays informed of educational legislation locally, state-wide and nationally.

Proposition R & Proposition 1 Steering Committee:  Dee worked with many community members for passage of these measures and feels responsible to ensure these funds are spent prudently.

Parkway PTO Leadership Council Co-Chair:  Dee served two years as co-leader of this district committee.

PTO President at Bellerive Elementary and Parkway Northeast Middle Schools, Vice President at Parkway North High School:  Dee believes these organizations are vital to a successful school.

Many years of volunteering on various district committees, in the schools, in the classroom, in the school libraries.

Congregation Temple Israel Executive Board:  Dee currently serves as President.

As the board member with the longest tenure, Dee's proven leadership and experience are invaluable to the Parkway community.
