- Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics/Computer Information Systems from Drake University.
- Office administrator for a busy law office, ZermanMogerman, LLC. Dee has experience in both the small business and corporate environments.
- Certified Board Member by the Missouri State School Boards' Association. Dee continues to attend seminars and classes whenever possible to help improve her boardsmanship.
- Twice-elected President of the Parkway School Board. In 2007 and 2008 Dee was nominated and elected unanimously by her peers to serve as president and was proud and honored to serve the district in this capacity.
- Longest tenure on the current board: Dee has served as a mentor to many of the current board members.
